Hair We Are...Again

Updated: Nov 3, 2022

Whether you’re a man or a woman, both can suffer from hair loss. Anyone can experience receding hairlines due to genetics, age, stress, unhealthy lifestyle, cancer recovery, etc.

The first step is to build your foundation. You have to give your body the nutrients it needs or it will take it away from other parts of your body it deems unnecessary (like hair and nails). Eat a balanced diet and take LifeLong Vitality vitamins daily. If your hair loss is due to hormones or menopause, another supplement you can take along with the LifeLong Vitality are the DDR Prime softgels. Sometimes lack of calcium is the cause of hair loss. If that’s the case, also take Bone Nutrient Essential Complex supplements.

After you’ve set a healthy consistent foundation, you can now try to improve your hair growth. The most commonly sworn-by-recipe for hair growth is Lavender+Rosemary+Cedarwood combo (equal amount of each oil→1:1:1 ratio).

There are many ways you can apply this hair oil combo to your hair and add it to your regular routine:

  • Mix the drops directly into your shampoo, conditioner, styling gel, and other hair products

  • Put into a glass/stainless steel spray bottle with water and spray onto hair (giving extra attention to the scalp)

    • If you struggle with oily hair, you can do this 15-30 minutes before a shower so you can rinse out the oil

  • You can use it with your styling products, as a pre-soak before a shower, or hair mask to keep in while you sleep

If the above recipe doesn't work for you, it can be a more serious case of hair loss. For a more serious hair loss recipe- shampoo daily adding the following oils:

Rosemary (3x drops)

Lavender (5x drops)

Cypress (4x drops)

Clary Sage (4x drops)

Other oils you can try are Eucalyptus, Frankincense, Hawaiian Sandalwood, Arborvitae, Lemon, Roman Chamomile, Spikenard, Thyme, Wintergreen, Yarrow, and Ylang Ylang.

Your current hair care could also be the issue. Try to swap to one of these hair products: Salon Essentials Smoothing & Protecting Shampoo & Conditioner, Leave in Conditioner (w/ quinoa protein), Hair Strengthening Shampoo & Conditioner (made w/ rice water), Root to Tip Serum, etc. Pure Essential Oils does not use chemicals that are toxic for the body like typical beauty products. So even if you don’t struggle with hair loss, this would still be a good switch to make for your own health and safety. Also switching your pillow cases to silk/satin ones can lower friction and breakage.
